The 'Alfa Pogo'-kennel knew his origin after reading an article in the monthly magazine "Woef", when he was breed of the month (september 1997).

The vizsla-virus caught me: I went in search for a puppy!

I decided to look for a puppy myself, and this search lead us to Gérard Faurré in France. From him I bought my first (shorthaired) bitch: "Pouppée Du Causse Diège", who I renamed "Pogo" and who is responsible for the growing passion and kennel.

From Gérard, later also came "Sam" and "Seppe", and at his home, I found a new love: the wirehaired vizsla!

It was inevitable, a while later I went to get my first wirehaired vizsla. It was "Diana Arvacska", a georgeous little bitch, who I called "Dinky". (I met her breeder through an Hungarian judge)

With the bitches a litter is bred once in a while, with a lot of devotion.
